We’re building an amazing team for a new Contemporary Mexican Restaurant located in Houston, Texas. We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Host/Hostess with previous experience in a full-service or upscale restaurant.
Job Description:
A Houston-based Contemporary Mexican Restaurant is hiring a passionate Front of House Host / Hostess to join our Front of House team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Create a warm, friendly, and memorable first impression for every guest.
- Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure a smooth seating process.
- Communicate effectively with servers and management to maintain an organized dining room.
- Answer guest questions about the restaurant, menu, and wait times.
- Handle incoming phone calls and reservation requests professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area.
- Assist with guest flow to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
- Provide outstanding hospitality while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
What You Bring / Lo Que Tu Aportas
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred — ¡Hablamos tu idioma!
- Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but we also welcome individuals eager to learn.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

We are the fabricator's engineer for delegated design and connections. We work with the design team to provide efficient designs for economical construction. Our engineers, designers and support staff have the combined experience of decades in steel and construction.
